June Lake Loop Sierra Plein Air Painting

Here are a couple of plein air studies I did while in the Sierra’s. We stayed at the June Lake Villager. It is a nice location to get easy access to some beautiful high mountain country. Edgar Payne and other early California Impressionist painters were on to something when they discovered this place.
